Jackites truly depicts a bird in flight, beating its wings and soaring across the wind. People will insist you have a bird tied to a string! Jackite kites are made of a synthetic material called Tyvek^® made by DuPont Corp. It has a tensile strength greater than steel. Strong, but light and thin as paper, but it isn't paper. It is environmentally safe and can be recycled just like plastic. It also lasts! It is tear resistant and waterproof. Jackite, Inc. began in 1988 and still operates today as a small family owned and run company. These versatile kites can fly as either kites or as windsocks from poles, or hung from a ceiling as a mobile indoors or out. They can even be used as decoys and can be effective for controlling pests. The unassembled kits are laser die cut for easy punch out and glue together assembly and the inks used are high quality and fade resistant. These truly unique birds are designed and made in the USA!
